Nice image Curious, but I'm going to give you some comments on improvement. Hopefully you will take them as such. First all your edges are too sharp, which makes for an unrealistic image. Try rounding out your edges as you model them. Mostly the edge of the river bank really needs some roughing up. The texture on the wall seem weird. The bridge gears are two dimensional, they need to have thickness. The ropes needs some slack, right now they are too tight. And the bridge should probably be made of wooden planks. I also don't like the fire. They look like the flame shader wraped on a cone. But I do like the overall atmosphere in the image. I think if you paid closer attention to detail you could really make some nice images. Good luck.
