Description

Rendered with Megapov. A detail of a work in progress. Victoria, Kozaburo's MK2 hair, Mike's shorts, Vicky's T-shirt. Some little postprocessing to remove graininess due to the lower quality settings I used, and to smooth a bony knee.

Great image! Natural pose, realistic lighting..my only objection would be the bump map on the chalkboard! But that's a minor detail to the overall outcome! Can't wait to see the whole thing completed! :o)

Thanks for all the nice comments. The lighting effect was done with Megapov's radiosity. One light source and good rad settings take care of everything... I forgot to mention that the skin texture uses a skin shader that simulates "subsurface scattering" (ported to Povray by Vahur Krouverk). Not perfect but it gives a less plastic-looking skin. Looks like I put too much bump on the blackboard too...

That's rather sweet, legs look a bit thin, but cute none the less :)

Great! Also nice to see some more Pov stuff up here... it seems to be the overlooked renderer in these parts.

very beautiful1. Maybe a little post work on the armpits but I feel guilty for saying so. Stunning image. I'm going to have to relearn Poser all over again

Very nice. Keep in mind how you made the texture for chalkboard Would be great for finger paint, or mud smears. Glass half full. :)
