Description

I'll start off by saying only the starshipwas done in Truespace6. I rendered it (with lighting) with a flat coloured background which I could select the model from in Painter6. I did the background in Painter6. The Starship has a large ring scructure held beneath the hull. I envision this to be some sortof controlled worm-hole generator ... hehe. I suppose in reality, the light from the star would not illuminate the side of the ship as fully as it does ... oh well , it looks better this way :P Here's a bigger view http://www.dkingdesign.com/space/Starship_near_star.jpg

This is really good. The lighting is perfect (maybe there is another sun to the side. :) ) Anyhow, the ship kicks ass and that background you made in painter is fantastic.

Very cool, great ship design and textures. I agree with Calanthe, the background is also superb. I like the tiny little figures in the foreward windows.

Great design and wonderful texturing. The hull is impressive. Well done scene! George Lucas (and others) have taught us that lighting in space does not need to be realistic - so have at it!! Great job!!
