Time to update... it's been a few years...
I don't do as much "art" as I used to. Now I make a lot of content, but don't release it. The act of creation has become more important than the adoration of the masses (yeah, right - grin). Or I can just be lazy when it comes to doing packaging, and a bit tired of no one likeing my promos.
Ah well...
I'm 50, almost 51. I've lived with William for almost 18 years, and I wouldn't change a thing. We've got 2 dogs, Butch and Precious. What names do you expect me to come up with? I admit it, I'm a steriotype. I prefer to think of myself as a Classic though.
I'm retired (medical), and sell my stuff to make a little money for smokes and toys. I bought myself a Robbie the Robot as an early birthday present for myself. I also have become addicted to the Japanese anime series "Naruto". Don't ask. I don't know why.
The best thing in my online life is the friends I've made with other Daz PA's and the rest of our little community. I'll probably never see them face to face, but they've all been supportave of my work, my opinions, and my warped and perverted sense of humor.
I read... a lot. My favorite author is Terry Pratchett. He's one of those authors who write well, write funny, and if you look, you can learn something about the world and yourself with very little effort.
I have a number of offline friends around the country. A few call me every day, so I spend lots of time on the phone. I blame a bit of my low release rate on them. I mean, really, I can't be totally at fault.
I live in the most beautiful and liberal city in the United States, Portland Oregon. If you come into town, let me know and I'll get you a Starbucks.

Hey, Jim, this looks sooo Gray's Anatomy. Really good. Hey, here's an idea for a series of figures: why not try to reproduce in Poser, with the corresponding old Sepia tone look, the anatomy drawings of Da Vinci and/or Michelangelo? You know, with the muscles hanging out and the skeleton showing. Done in the drawing style of both artists on vellum? Reproducing their old look in the sketchbooks. I think it would be a great series, since you and a handful of others are such masters of Poser and render such beautiful 3D males.... anyway just a thought, good work.

What did you use to to get the nice lensflare effect (I assume photoshop but I could not find this particular effect>) Also I notice you are having a similar problem to one I am experiencing. Do you have any idea how to eliminate Mikes nipples??? They are a feature of the skin and should not show in a anatomy drawing like this. I want to use this texture for an educational website and I can't figure a way around this problem. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=223252&Start=1&Artist=Muscleguy&ByArtist=Yes

The lens effect was done entirely in P5. I created a texture of a graduated square. Inside all white, to outside all black. I used that texture in the material room on a cube for the transparency, texture, reflection, refraction and bump. Played with the controls and got this. Actually, I don't have Photoshop.
