Art is emotion. Life is a reaction to a environmental condition. So I guess life mocks art. Life is what you feel when you die. Death comes when you quit making art. Emotion comes from living. Live to love. Love to make art.
BIOEvery minute we live to die, I walk in darkness to see the light, I am a dead lover you continue to kill, I am a dead flower you proceed to plant, there is no love only lust, I am a dead lover you continue to sex, I'm everything and nothing, I'm all you think I should be, I'm millions of different things to thousands of different people. ::When you move artistically, the natural inclination is to denouce everything thats gone before. You can't be greater then Elvis, you can't change things like the Beatles, you can't be as original as Led Zeppelin, all you can do is rip them off. When I found this out I figured life is everything and nothing all at once. As a 28 year old whos lived long enough to know the difference, I know now that the feelings I felt at 16 were not necessarily correct. But however overly dramatic, the desperation and hopelessness I felt at 16 was my reality. So now I've finally found Jesus (the cat)...he was behind the couch the whole time. Of course you can't understand anything i'm saying, but that's cool cause i'm still saying it. People need trouble -- a little frustration to sharpen the spirit on, toughen it. Artists do; I don't mean you need to live in a rat hole or gutter, but you have to learn fortitude, endurance. Only vegetables are happy. Sometimes to realize you were well, someone must come along and hurt you. There isn't any formula or method. You learn to love by loving. All suffering comes from a person's inability to sit still and be alone; There is no greater sorrow than to recall in misery the time when we were happy. In conclusion, the only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future::

I feel incredibly fortunate to have grown up watching him. I'm still very heartbroken over his passing. Safe journey, my friend. Meet you in Tir Na Nog.

I think his show will be in reruns in perpetuity on PBS. I went to college in Pittsburgh in the early 90's and I had the good fortune ofeetig Fred Rogers on several occasions. My first encounter with him was in a grocery store and he happened to be in line ahead of me. During the next four years I seemed to run inot him everywhere. Our class got a tour of WQED qhere he taped his show and we got to go check out the sets for the neighborhood of make believe. I felt like Armstrong landing on the moon. Last I heard there was plans to crate both sets up (His house and the neighborhood) and put them in the Smithsonian. I hope they do. I'm getting my nephew hooked on the show now and offly enough I still kind of enjoy it too. It's a GREAT picture
