Description

From the vast reaches of earth at a time when chaos ruled, three clans emerged out of the depths of dark ruins. These clans had one goal, for total power and control. Known as the FireHawks, DarkndSouls, and Shadows. Ravaging through the ruins, each clan would gather materials and technologies of the past and fuse them with those of the future, in order to build Mega Mech Machines. They would use these machines to wage war against each other in hopes of total annihilation of their rivals. The year is 3003. All that remains is one Mega Mech of the DarkndSouls and two Mega Mech Destroyers of the Shadows, as the FireHawks last Mech smolders on the battlefield. Who will be left standing to reign over this ravaged land? All modeling done in Bryce by me with the exceptions of the Poser male skeleton, Future Chair by: Daniel Grenzmann with modifications by: me & Large fire by: Clay, both in Bryce Freestuff. This was one of the most complicated builds that I have done to date. It took about a week to create with 12,339 objs and 4,822,227 polys. No post work to any of the images. Only the presentation with drop shadows and fonts. This is dedicated to my two sons, who inspired me to work on it and have taught me tons about bryce. Darkndsoul13 and FireHawk1986. Thank you in advance for viewing. Have a great weekend. Enjoy:) PS. Larger Detail Pics of the Gyro Stabilizer and Cockpit were posted earlier in the week and can be seen in my gallery.

Well.. i'll admit the fine lazers are pretty well done.. but i don't care for how the mech's look.. looks to simple. Just no real action is occuring.. for all i know they could be shooting at birds.. - James

I personally don't agree with Ev3rM0r3 this is a very good looking mech due to its originality and modeling especially when made in Bryce alone. Plus the story was excellent to go with it all and all id say its excellent.

I think this is a nice image with good composition and texturing. It would be nice to know what they were shooting at. How about if the one on the left were aimed at something coming from the left background? I also think the details around the edge are a nice touch and a clever way of drawing one's attention to all the detail in the image. Ed

for the most part, I'd agree with the exception of the left one aiming elsewhere... you explained that in the story... more comments from me in the forum. nice work

This is way good. Maybe for someone else's standards the modelling could be simple, but not in mine. Excellent job.

Wooohoo! Go Mechs! It would be a funny animation to see these guys do a softshoe dance routine.

I like the composition as is - nice flames and smoke too. My only suggestion is to think about adding some battle damage to the mechs. They look pretty clean for having lazers shot at them.
