Description

It's a huge problem for every artist, creating realistic looking ice using TERRAGEN, especially such with a semi-transparent look. So I labored on different techniques to achieve such an 'icy' look. Please regard this one just as a test...

Der Himmel ist genial. Die Landschaft sieht aus wie ein Foto, das mit versch. Filtern nachbearbeitet wurde, z.B. f einen Urlaubskatalog. Ziel= Antarktis. Mir geflt es sehr gut. Es ist nur f TG Landschaften sehr unlich. Spricht aber sehr f Deine Kreativit!

The sky is great. The ice is not perfect but it looks realistic. Search pictures at google and you can see, ther are a lot looking like this one

This is very interesting - and very beautiful also. I think you really are on to something here. you gog some of this semi-transparent look .. not quite like ice, but I do not think much is missing (ome places like right middle is as close as I have ever seen). Ice in light would IMO look white, so I would love to see this with even more white and toned down blue. Apart from that and as a picture it is simply fantastic and excellent work - even when you just do a test :-)

Wow, sieht wirklich aus wie Eis, fast sogar wie Kristall. Wie hast Du es gemacht? Bin ja gar nicht neugierig ;-) Die Farben vom Himmel sind auch super gut! Passt alles toll zusammen. Respekt!!!

Wonderful blue colours. Agree with Xlars about ice in the middle, the best I've seen in Terragen.

besser sp als nie ... ich finde die farbgebung toll ... der eis-touch kommt gut rer und auch diese semi-tranzparenz ist teilweise da ... jedenfalls kein schlechtes bild ... hast du da weiter dran gearbeitet? (neugierig sei)
