Description

Thought it was about time I posted more than just comments. So here's one of my recent Vue images. The composition uses the Lancaster bomber that ships with Vue 4, which was edited to break one wing and remove the props, the glass and other material from the cockpit and front-gunner post then retextured for corrosion and encrustation. The idea for creating the underwater effect was modified from a tutorial by Carol Brooksbank. Two renders with slightly different lighting and materials were made which were then layer-stacked in Paint Shop Pro (using two copies of the second render) and different blending modes and transparencies used to combine them to form the final image.
