I know nothing about 3DS Max but I am bowing before you in humble submission. This is terrifice work. Your presentation with the various mechanical parts is wonderful. I cannot ever imagine giving a WIP an excellent ranking, but this deserves one. Can't wait to see it when its done.

It seems youve learned pretty well! I couldnt do anything like that! Excellent!

I also like it alot, but those rings onthe dampers(i forget what they are called) need to be smoothed, you can do that in their paramaters or with Msmooth. Now the cut you did into the face (uppermost image) doesn't look right, it looks like all you did was delete the poly's. because there is no back to the inside of it.... but other than that its a pretty good start!

thx for all the nice comments so far and to "ICed" comment about the hood on the damper as i said this is a WIP and at 80,000+ poly`s so far its turning out to be a bit of a monster so i have to keep them down until the final render to be able to work on it.also about the cut on the face there actualy 2 ,anther black one on the lower jaw, these seem to be glitches when rendered...some thing i have to iron out in the final......As i have said this is a WIP so forgive me for some imperfections....but please do keep the comments coming as they all help to show me the error in my ways and help me become more skilled....many thx guys

The_Dreamer
Good! But the points of weld aren't real. You need to be most observation of really, help you with any photos of mechanical construction. Watch your model, and ask me if I mistake... However you are a good 3D modeler.
___PLAGUE___
emmm ok not sure what The_Dreamer is trying to say...not sure how to reply to that... thx i guess ...heheheh ;-)
