Description
This is a droid model that I have been working on for a sci-fi movie, which (maybe) some day will be made. Rendered and modeled entirely in Carrara 2, textures made in Corel PP via Uvmapper.

This is a very interesting design. Good eye for detail such as the texture for the light. The lense cap idea seems like it could be done differently. Looks kind of awkward. Maybe one that is on two hinges and splits open like double doors that could control the amount of light reaching the lense, just a thought.
