Since every next portrait takes more and more time and has more and more postupload suggestions for improvement (that is highly appreciated and I'm very grateful for all the helpful critics and comments, dear friends), I decided to upload this postwork to learn what You think of it...

And then you wondered why I added you to my favourites.. Man.. THIS speaks for itself!!! You have improved 200% in merely three months. The volumese here are amazing: the nose line so real, and the eye is alive. You are walkin giantes steps, and now you're ready to fly :)

You did an especially excellent job on the pupil. The nose is pretty good too but it some how look like it isn't protruding enough. Maybe it's just that the cropping makes it look this way. Noses are bloody hard to do. I love to see drawings. Awesome work.

I think the shading is very good, especially around the nose, very delicately. I see the eye lashes are not as good as the rest, but then again, trying to get realistic eyelashes is one of the hardest things to do. Really? Oh trust me ;) Try to make them a bit "bigger". Tip: use more dark shades for it starting from the line that separates the eyewhite from the eye lid. (check out my HeavenIV, since the faces are almost the same).

Most excellent work Anthony my friend. Your attention to both the 3 dimensional look through shading and your vast improvements in proportion are very evident in this well executed render. Eyelashes are as varied in thickness and length as trees in a forest - so there's no right or wrong appearance or way to present them in art. As this is a work in progress, to pass critique would be premature - so from what is here presented - the drawing is progressing beautifully. Well done my friend.
