Description

His body is mainly done, just have to add some details to it. I learned that modeling the whole character from one object is a little harder, but a big pay off in the end (when it comes to boning and all, plus its more organized =P) after his body gets some touch ups, he will be boned (that sounds so wrong lol) and then he'll be finished =) thanks to everyone for their comments =)

One quick thing: his thumbs are backward. Otherwise, this is by far the best thing of the thousands you've put in the gallery. You did a lot of work on the head, but the body is less well-defined. It's great to see you progress.

Yeah i like to build from one object also, but i have lossened up a bit lately, and do build in parts. It depends on the model. YOu could have for instance modeled the arms seperately here since there is a sharp transition at the shoulder anyway. When you set up the bones you can set the selections in such a way that things move smoothly and nobody sees the break between different parts. Great model BTW. Reminds me a bit of one of the guys from quake, only better.
