Description

Even though this tragety happened weeks ago, I still felt the need to create something dedicated to the COLUMBIA. I would have posted earlier, but I keep retouching. I figure if I dont post now, I never will. =) Face in Poser5, Rest in PhotoShop7. Please leave comments & Feel Free to Vote. **I had to repost this due to my 1st post had CHALLENGER... instead of Columbia.. sorry guys.. never post your work @ 3am***

This is indeed very good, and Challenger deserves to be remembered and memorialized this way. However, just to set the record straight: it was the Columbia that was lost a few weeks ago, 17 years and just a few days after the Challenger tragedy. I am sure both crews have "docked" with Appollo 1: it would be interesting to see a tribute to them as well...

I like the way the posed the wings, since it adds more "intimacy" to the image. The far left part looks a bit empty now though, you might want to consider deleting that part.

Great tribute concept and excellent work....I feel it would have been more appropriate, however, if the angel was cradeling the shuttle rather than the earth....just my personal opinion...;-)
