warped expression
Small breasts heave sobs
in epileptic seizures
bite my tongue
gag on sorrow
stuck in the back of my throat
a dangling participle
foam gasps reality
Charcoal emotion
portrayed in fingerstrokes
swirl
blur
the pain
reality is real
She died

My art teacher told us we have to do a nude self portrait tonight....and it just so happens, the only thing I see when I look in my little mirror this evening, is the sorrow and ache of missing my mom. It would be her birthday today
this is what I look like inside.
