Description

Rise Up. Angel of Industrial Death, Whispers in silence the smoky tendrils from your raging smoke stacks and below like a thousand dying stars, are the souls of your chemical holocaust an ignorant debris, lay in solvent. (Photograph of Pollution taken pouring out of a smoke stack on a beautiful sunday morning, composited with another photograph with postwork done in Photoshop. This is a purely experimental phase I am trying to express with, and all comments criticisms are of course, welcome)

Well done Syyd!! I can see a second angel rising above the face in the pollution. Or perhaps that's the angel and the face is the industrial death. Very well done. A 10+++. Applause, applause. -Ray- (A huge fan.)

so sad, so true.....a great piece of art....the only thing i'd change is to increase the opacy with the layer with the face to make it stand out more....

This picture has a very important meaning, since sample a latent reality in the whole planet, the environmental pollution, the man is wanting to destroy the nature, however the nature will be the one in charge of destroying the man if it persists in this attitude. As for the picture in yes it is excellent the assembly that is made with the human figure and the forms of the smoke, congratulates her to give apart from beauty in its work, to leave a message of alert so that we stop the contamination in the planet, it is the only one that we have and it is necessary to take care of it.

Syyd this is a great image, it amazes me that even when we know what is happening, we still permitt ourselves to be a part of it in some way.

Taura, absolutely....I felt like a voyeur witnessing the eventual death of civilization, as dramatic as it sounds, its true. To see this thick smoke just choke out the sun, and be illuminated by it was a terrifying thing to watch.

Powerful message. Upper part looks almost like nuclear bomb explosion, the final destruction.
We are so fucking blinded, blinded by money and egocentricity.
But, good thing is, that evolution will work, and we will destroy futile human race.

It never ceases to amaze- how you find inspiration for your images. Rorschach of the damned, but presented so beautifully it's almost peaceful. Much like death, I imagine.

This image hit me right between the eyes--something this powerful should be used by one of the many activist organizations who are devoting their time to cleaning up the mess we've made of our world. I hope you'll consider the possibility. And, artistically, It Rocks!
