even though i am not into religious images most of time this one is different case. as far as idea goes you visualized it really good. implementation is great too, despite small minus of intersection of first womans dress and second ones legs. mostly what i like in this picture is an atmosphere created by good light and pov.

g&c, your religious images as of late have all been wonderful. Excellent composition and execution. On this one I do see what Kantele pointed out and I do have an observation of my own. The clothing on the disciple looks correct, but perhaps the women should be wearing something a little more modest. All in all it is still an Excellent Image.

You are all right, I am still trying to find proper clothing to buy but am having no luck so far in getting clothing to fit the period. If anyone has any links to sites that sells clothing of this period we would greatly appreciate it! Please keep the suggestions coming, we value all of them, even the critiques.

You have been granted a true talent , and depicting these images even shows it further. When you create these the Lord must be so in tune with you they come out as perfection.God Bless. PS...Perhaps I can look forward to seeing John20. Maybe with Mary standing weeping at the tomb where Jesus had layed but seeing the two angels. Ahh if only I could create that well.

i'm not into religious renders, either. however, you did a spectacular job on this. i think if you just did very plain textures on the women's clothing it would work better. just because of the class jesus was from.

Super expressions on their faces! Finding clothes for that period will be no small task. Sadly, it's not as popular a subject, as all that other stuff!?!? hehe. I have a feeling The trend will continue, but not for long; He is due to return shortly. Excellent++
