Hi everyone, and thanks for visting my home page here on Renderosity.
My gallery here consists of both 2D and 3D work, and I always list the software I used to make it. If you have any questions on how I did something, feel free to contact me.BIOIt really is an honor to have the ability to display my art work here, among such a rich and vibrant world-wide artist community. I am often amazed, and even more often humbled, by the artists and the work I see here.
If you see anything in my gallery that you particularly like, please don't be shy, let me know by leaving a comment or by signing my guest book below. It's how I learn to improve myself, both as an artist, and as an objective viewer of art, so it really is appreciated.
A little about me:
Well, as you can see, I'm kinda too young for my own good. Born in 1957, I refused to emotionally mature any further after age 7, hence the picture here --->; think of this as a precise picture of the emotional me!
I'm a proud Daddy, who practices architecure here in NY all by my lonesome self; I draw, sculpt (when I can), play guitar (when the local ordinances haven't figured out how to stop me), design web sites, create all sorts of digital art, do some light programming and multimedia stuff, and, work out almost every day (one day, when I really grow up, I'm gonna be Arnold!).
Art has been a major part of my life since my 2nd grade friend, Walter, used to draw comic book heroes for me during lunch. That's when the bug hit me, and never left. I always drew things and created stuff, but it was secondary to playing baseball and basektball when I was younger. Today, I still play ball, but my art comes first; you can catch me at my 'puter most of the time, deeply entrenched in Strata 3D, my very favorite 3D program, as you can see from the images in my gallery here - one day, if I practice long and hard enough, I might actually become almost good with it!
Oh crap, Jimmy Neutron is starting...
Gotta Blast!

Your modeling abilities utilizing these rather complicated pieces of software are quite awe-inspiring. Although you think of yourself in less than flattering terms when it comes to referring to yourself as artistically inclined - I for one will always disagree. It takes an inner vision to conceptualize any form of art, be it 2D or 3D, and it takes practice, persistence, and patience to bring those visions to fruitage. To some, perhaps a glass of water doesn't constitute art, but to me, it certainly does. Rendering liquid and doing so with believable results is pure art plain and simple. How many artists have attempted to portray liquid in a glass or clear decanter in a still life - only to have it look like anything other than what it was they intended. This is as much credit to any artistic vision as any painting, for I look and I feel thirsty. About the only thing I might have added had I painted this my friend - is a few drips of water on the exterior of the glass. Nevertheless, I think this is excellent, and definitely skilled work.

That's where the real tallent shines, in the shy glow of lighting passing through a complex yet simple model of glass full of water. That's totally brilliantt, to the poetic darkness, to the outstanding water material. I completely agree with racin-jason, you're a real tallented artist, with poetry added on. Thank you, marvelous.
