Description

My humble attempt to recreate a man made lake near my home here in Central Ohio (USA. Rendered entirely in Vue d'Esprit.

Excellent picture. I really like how the water is even a little murky as allot of lakes are.

I don't really like the boat in the picture, but all the rest is just so beautiful. I think my problem with the boat is that it is to bright of color, looks a bit unreal to me. What I do like a lot is the trees on top of the mountain and the water, and well, all other things except the boat. :)

Very cool! I've always wanted a man made lake or pond :) The ledge reminds me so much of Arkansas, my favorite place. The sky looks like there is sort of a blanket on it, thick. But you still deserve a 10!

I would like to thank everyone who commented on my scene. I have reposted the image with some of the suggested changes made above. I darkened the red color of the canoe (the brighter shade is still in the thumbnail) and agree that it looks better. I also altered the sky to look softer, and less like a blanket for JMFx33 in Arkansas. Once again, thanks to everyone for their kind and helpful comments. JAS

Love this image. It makes you feel you could walk right up, jump into the canoe and takeoff out into the water. I think just about everyone has a memory that this brings forth. Mine is from long ago, but this image brought it back. Great work! Thanks for stirring a happy memory. =)
