This I have been working on for the last 2 weeks... I have been told I should work on modeling instead of cool effex... So i am trying that now... and considering i dont read any type of books or get any help I have done this..... the model is completely freehanded... therefor i am not using any pictures of any kind... I am poly modeling it I guess using CPoly2 for 3ds max 4 so whatever u wanna call it call it that I call it poly modding... Made In: 3DS Max 4.2 Made By: Me Textured By: Me Renderer: 3ds Default Renderer any comments helpful any suggestions helpful also.... thanx for looking...

I mean no offence, but--from the front--this looks like the big spinning cylindrical head in Tron. (without the eyes) The only reason I suggested that you put more effort into modelling is because it looks like you are already pretty good at the cool FX stuff. Keep it up!

You can read in a book how to do it, but you just have to DO it to get better in it! Look at the tutorials on the internet and just look at the images! (B.t.w., the things you made really look cool!)
