I've been working as an Industrial Designer (In House) now for about 8 years. I have recently decided to go into buisness for my self.. Something that I have been dreaming about for a long time! Here at Rosity I will try to show some of my photography.. Hope that you will enjoy!BIOI'm 35 soon 36 years of age and have photography, graphics design, dirtbiking and soon a little Staffordshire bitch as my greatest interests...
History when it comes to photography.. I actually started photographing in the winter of 2000.. before that I had used other mediums.. That I started photographing dance was much of an accident since I was intrested in architectural photo. It all started when I was out to shot one of our historical buildings in Karlstad, Vmlandsteatern! There were a dansperfomance supposed to happen and some friends of mine were going to there rehearsals... "Why don't you tag along?" Why not.. Today I've shot somewhere around 26 000 photos of almost every kind of object and situation... some 14000 of my shoots are of dancers and their perfomances. So now it's time to move on...
As an industrial designer I prefer working with equipment and products handled by people... when it comes to graphics the obviuse goal is to create images that people enjoy looking at.. but concerning my photograpy I will try to create something that also makes you think...
The equipment I use except for paper, pencils, pens, markers and others are...

The directional cracks in the bricks underfoot and the lines of the background buildings seem to be pointing, forming an arrow, towards the same direction. The girls dance, circling a central object which remains unknown to the by-standing viewer. What is hidden just out of sight? Excellent lines, contast, and subject matter (and lackthereof). You framed the shot so that the off-screen object is left up to my imagination. You have caught my attention and drawn me into a scene. Excellent job!

Wow. Where did you go that you got this pose? I love it, I love it, I love it!! I agree with you as well on this peice. If it was in color there would be no emotion to it. But in B&W there is. What is it about black and white prints that give off so much emotion? ( No need to answer that. ;) )
