I think the lighting is perfect linda, and I totally understand about struggling with the outdoor scenes, there terribly difficult to me. Good job!

I think she looks very worldly-wise and sophisticated, even in denim. If you are not happy with your outdoor lights, have you tried the ones in the free section at RDNA? They have some excellent presets for sunlight and moonlight among others, if you haven't seen them yet. I like this image by the way; she's got a very interesting face.
