Today at home in Buffalo. Great lake Erie is frozen all the way into the distant mist. And Cody found a boat. Nikon CoolPix 880/Fine quality JPEG/Max resolution...

Several things come to mind with this photograph, first, the old man and the sea by hemingway, michael row the boat ashore, and then, I am the captain of my fate, the master of my destiny, and last but not least, music, I hear handels words from the Chandos Anthem, "the waves of the sea rage horribly", and "they that go down with ships". I want to thank you for taking it, not because it is Cody, but because it captures some kind of mood on a real gut level. I want this one printed, and framed...(hint hint)xxx Syyd

This is just a wonderful picture. Syyd, I agree, I would take this one printed and framed, 16 x 20, would look just great or maybe even larger. This was one of my few hard disk saves.

Thanks all for your kind comments. I have only just started taking photo's again as we have just got a 'Nikon' digital camera. I plan on doing many more. Prints:... We plan on getting an archival printer very soon. Maybe we can get some print things going.
