I really don't know Maya but I would recommend an overhaul of the starfield, too many stars and too repetitious. The "Mars" planet would have a more diffused texture at this distance. A touch more detail and a bit more style to the rocket and you will have a nice scene here. Keep working, I'm sure it will get easier for you.
