The turbulant water is great and you did a great job with the ships sails. Very Nice!

Yea, How'd you do that to the water, Bryce water is not the easiest thing to manipulate. . .and I've tried! Good Job with that water and I do love boats.

Looks pretty good, but the overall feel isn't quite right. The water looks turbulent, but the sky looks peaceful. You should at least make an attempt to learn the sky lab, but if you can't quite get the hang of it, there's lots of stormy weather presets. Oh, and rain would help, there's some volumetric rain in the presets that you should apply to a massive cube.

I disagree on the sky. I've been on the ocean when it's really rough because of a storm miles away. The currents will carry the turbulence far away from the storm itself. The only thing I'd like to see in this is some people. At this distance from the ship, detail is so visible that it seems odd that there's no bodies around. Other than that, I'm quite impressed with this. The water is awesome!

Thanks eelie, I built a bunch of Poser buccaneers, but they showed off the boat's scale problems and made the scene look bad. Without the clues to scale, the ship looks fine. And as for the ocean and sky, I live next to the ocean, I can see it from my window, and you're right - but really I just wanted more light on the subject, so I made the sky lighter. The water is a terrain and a copy. One terrain is plain clear water, and the other is 'Classic Bryce Snow' modified to show only the snow and invisible everywhere else. the snow terrain is offset a couple clicks to the windward and softened once or twice. I'm glad everyone likes it, thanks a lot.
