Description

I know, I know...it's fairly simple. I created the ships in about 10 minutes. I was really testing part of an idea to create realistic contrails. Anyway, I had about 20 minutes total into this one and couldn't resist. Even though it's simple, I like the overall color appeal. I'm in DEEP with another ship-creation and had to step out of it for a few minutes. I'll post the other ship (with accompanying background) as soon as I finish piecing it all together. I've only been working with Bryce for a couple of weeks and really enjoy this medium!!!! Hope you enjoy this quick-render. :O)

All of the ships I create (so far) are a BIZILLION booleans. I'll start with a few concept-sketches then build it from various objects. I've only been working with Bryce for two weeks. There's a TON to learn. I'm sure there's probably a far-simpler way to get the look I'm after but I really enjoy the 'drafting board' experience, which is why I piece together loads of object/booleans. As a side-note...most of the textures will be variations/original DTE creations, too. I just hate to use the standard presets if I can afford the time. If I'm going for concepts, I'll use the preset material (or my growing number of original textures, etc.) and not worry about those specifics. Whenever I post my currently-in-progress ship (which has turned out to be far more involved than I first thought.) it will be all original everything. I really am enjoying this tool.
