Description

This image is the result of many experiments. First, I wanted to see if I could create a normal forest with mu jungle technique... Second, I wanted to make a new sort of grass, instead of my usual "Dry Weeds" everywhere :) I made it with alphaplanes by Dani36. Third, I've never really experimented with depth of field so I wanted to use it and see how it worked in this. I really think it has added some extre depth. And the last was a test to check out the textureset for kromekat's tree. Comments are very welcome :) Thanks for viewing! - Thomas

I can tell that you were really trying to emphasize the flowers. They could be thought of as the light within the darkness, because of the tree, and the shade around it. An overall excellent work, but I would not have put the hardness of the shaddow on the tree to black.

Very nice work. Boy I'll tell you,.....plop a two room cabin right down in the middle of this and I'd be in heaven. Is this based on a real place, or just imagination ? Because I'd live here in a minute.

Also this time, from your laboratory, an interesting pic has gone out. I am very interested to use the DOF, but I have not able to find it in VUE. Where is it? I am not, a great promoter of the alphaplanes, I believes that, in a program 3D, I should use it only to relieve the scene, when there are too many objects 3D, for example (you see yours "Large Vue's"), or in other exceptional cases, but not to simulate anything that I can't make in 3D. To experiment, is well however always. Ciao, Thomas.
