Description

this has been my obesession for the past few days. I guess im satisfied, there still some stuff i wish I couldve done better. the orcs were rendered in seperate layers, about 10 at a time, with the man standing on the rock as the template. If you look closely at the pile you probably see not all of them are in scale and are positioned strangley, but it was meant to be more symbolic than logical. i did alot of postowkr, mainly in lighting and (you guessed it) layering. I had fun making this and i hope you enjoy it. you guys rock. thanks to Beton and Hobbit for posting their wonderful images-it got me out of the block ive been in. have a great day!

The detail and complexity of this image is incredable. Very well done indeed. If you had not mentioned the scale and position irregularities, I'll bet no one would have noticed. The composition is excellent. I enjoyed viewing.

I Like the lighting of the sky very much. The torn banners, the chaos and the moment of victory are excelent. The image looks great. I would like to make one comment though. some of the body's seem be be floating. I you could do anything about that, it would make it even better! good work
