Beautiful model. Superb render.

Thank you both. I used splines and patched it. Render was around 10hrs for each @ 1280x960, med AA, 8x24 rpe-Monte.

Far better than I'm capable of right now! It there a dent in the mesh right next to the headlight? It could be just reflective distortion. Still, a great piece of work!

This is so good. Some of the best modeled tire and treads I've seen around here.

zeken1-I'm not quite sure, this is the modeled/mirrored side. On the other views, it's not as apparent. Might be where the seam is in the map. It's the snowfield hdr from sachform. http://www.sachform.de/index.asp

Impressive tires... map or actually modeled? Good all around the model, seemingly a dimple by the headlights.

bulbousone-thanks for the words. The tires are texture mapped and the "dimple" you refer to has actually turned out to be a combination of the mesh being a little tight there and the seam of the HDR map conveniently being there. Both have been fixed in addition to some other suggestions but I will not repost. On to somethin' else :)
