Description

Just a repost of my first post here.. this is a close up view of The Wanderer. This is the size that I originally created the image in and was the main focul point of the image. When I originally did this picture I rendered the poser figure with no textures at all.. all texturing, hair and clothing was done in photoshop using my favorite too my Wacom tablet. The reason I am finally reposting is that after going through the image in my gallery I looked at this one and realized the smaller post lost a lot of the detail work I had put into it.. I hope you enjoy this version.

Very nice work!! You are getting the highlight and shadowing working well, very good job on the hair too!... Another trick to learn how to manipulate all the painting tools in both Painter and in PS is to render your poser as a sketch.. this is good practice for learning to shade and create depth as you still have sketch lines to go by .. looks like you already have a good grip on it but the thought occured to me and someone might find it useful s. Well done!
