Description
I'd been at a loss for inspiration lately, constantly getting frustrated with my own lack of ability to put what I saw in my head on the screen. I'd start, and stop, and throw something out, and just get angry. So I looked to the things that inspired me as a child; this is one of them, the Lamp from the Forest in "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", from The Chronicles of Narnia. I've always been a fan of that series of books. And of black-and-white pictures. :)
Done in Bryce 5, post-work (greyscaling, lens flare, minor touch-up work) in Photoshop 7 w/ the Aurora Plug-In. Comments are welcome. Thanks for viewing!

Narnia is always a great place to get ideas, and so is childhood. A delightful work. Thank you for posting.

Very cool. And I love the Narnian chronicles. I also did a pic of Lucy and Tumnus, which can be viewed at my website. You captured the feeling of Lantern Waste well. Very nice affects

Wonderful atmosphere. I'm glad you choose the BW, it adds a lot to the image.

Thanks, all - I'm honored. :) I might try to do a picture from each book, now that I'm on a roll.
