Description
I am dancing, dancing to an unknown tune,
Drifting like dust on a beam from the moon.
Playing the song in my head all the while,
Lips curving, soft, in a secretive smile.
Like a dry autumn leaf when the wind has begun,
Light as a summer cloud kissed by the sun,
A snowflake escaping a fierce winter storm,
Or delicate blossoms as spring starts to warm.
I am these, I am more, as I move round the floor,
The rhythm of life beating hard at my door,
Love is the music, and I am the dancer,
The song of forever is sung when I answer.

Love your prose and your image is divine. Is that the lambada or the tango? I can't tell from this angle. Love ya!

I love them both, so much. The forms are really dancing, I keep on marvelling on how you are able to represent movement in still images. And the poem is so delicate and rich that makes me want to read more, and more, and more. Thanx for posting this, Tres.

The dynamism of this image moved me, it called me from a jungle of thumbnails and demanded to be seen. I love this. Thanks for sharing it. The great poem was an un expected gift.
