Der trauernde Hirtengott Arkadiens, Sohn des Hermes, dem Boreas, der Nordwind, seine Geliebte die Felsen hinabgeston hat. In seinem Schmerz bat Pan die Gtin Gaia, ihm zu helfen, da er nicht mit Pythis zusammen sterben konnte und ohne sie nicht leben wollte. ... Und wie er nun zu Gaia flehte, begann dort, wo Pythis lag, ein Stmchen aus der Erde zu sprien. Es wuchs schnell heran und wurde zu einem Baum mit gren Zweigen - einer Pinie. ... (griechische Mythologie) ... thx for your nice comments und - schade, daso wenige diese sage kennen
