Description

Image inspired from the tolkien novels and the the two movies. Minimal postwork done in photoshop (levels correction and title addition) Pretty much my first complete scene done in maya. Wanted something dark, slightly moody but still recognizable. Any input at all is greatly valued. --Thanks

Wonderful work. I would like to see something emerging from beneath the surface of the water though, this would add even more to this masterpiece =)

Definitely a possibility when I have a chance to come back to it. Right now I'm overrun with work and outside projects (in addition to finally getting poser, that I've quickly become addicted to) I want to make something that seems a little bit more intimidating and just plain uglier than the one in the movie. Who knows, we'll see what happens.

"Ive seen the movie and i recognize it on first sight." Heh - you know there was a book before the movies that Tolkien drew this for ;) But I say great work. I just think the Ithildin needs to be a bit more silver, not so blue. After all, Ithildin means shining-silver...
