Description

If you like this, please check out my other work, you won't be disapointed. :) A superheroine I've been working who goes by the handle of Input. Her story: Another Friday night in Delhi's downtown. Madhuri was in her favorite club, dancing away with Ajit; her latest boy toy acquisition. The music was hot, Ajit was hot, and the night was hers. Then it happened. He bumped into her as he made his way across the dance floor to the bar. She never saw him, never knew who he was, but panic struck her to the core -he was here to kill, and she knew it- she didn't know why, but it was as plain as the sweat pouring over her. If Madhuri had paid attention she would have known. Her drink had been a soda, there was no alcohol here -it was a Muslim club. The man was Hindu like her, but unlike Ajit and most of those in the room. Madhuri didn't understand the religious hatreds brewing in India, but he did. All she knew was to flee. She tried to grab Ajit, but he wouldn't come -thinking she only wanted to sit out the next song. Madhuri ran into the street as a web of colors weaved around her giving her the edge she needed to dodge behind a fruit stand just as the bomb went off. She never saw Ajit again, nor anyone else from that night. She was only glad her family thought she was elsewhere that night... Two years later a young woman stepped into LAX after a long flight, one of the lucky few to land a job as a foreign worker in the US -and wasn't she lucky- to already have a Green Card lined up. Within six months, a computer glitch had given her citizenship; with an American passport she could go anywhere. And with that, she could do whatever it took to save the next Ajit, wherever in the world he might be. Madhuri is a mutant, her power manifested late in life when her life was threatened. In the time since she has trained herself in the hopes of becoming a super hero. She works to fight hatred, and the terror it brings. The cause doesn't matter, the victim doesn't matter; all she cares about is doing the right thing. If she can save one life, whatever it takes, her cause is just. Given her skills and abilities, there is no paper or digital trail left of Madhuri's deception, only a trail of the people she has known in that time. Input is a living computer, able to interface fully with the human mind, computers, and the mass subconscious. This ability gives her an amazing level of awareness of her reality and of what choices will lead to the best results. This in effect lets her alter probabilities around herself. Whenever she can 'analyze' a situation she is able to understand it's nature, history, and probably future and plan her actions accordingly. She uses guns as her weapon of choice, and alters probability to give herself a deadly aim, good enough to harm even those normally immune to bullets. Input lives a one woman quest to wipe out hate, using her skills to hack police and court databases around the world looking for those who have escaped justice for hate crimes and making these people her targets.
