Nice one! Enormous amount of detail. The trees and people are mapped onto planes I guess but what about other areas? Where do you use maps and where itx (if any)?

I use maps on planes for the people and trees and the signage on the canopy. All other textures are itx's or itx's in combination with maps (the grass for example). Also a filter map was used for the vertical pickets on the balcony handrails althoug you cant see them in this low res image. My favourite itx texture is Shingles from Steve Worley's essence textures. I used it one of my recent projects to create a random Ashlar pattern of tyndal stone on a building. It was made up of aprox. 80 or 96 (can't remeber for sure)applications of the shingles texture and also a crumpled texture to give the stone roughness.
