This image is made by Ryan Bliss from DigitalBlasphemy.com, more good examples of World Builder can be found there. :)

Nice Prog, but too expensive for me, I like Vue because it is cheap, but it has not got such excellent volumetric effects.

Have it :-) Yes is the most amazing program out there! Does fantastic landscapes :-) Glad to see there is a gallery for WB now :-)

My gods... this is incredible! I HAVE to get this program... this is really what I've been looking for.

Wow! This is almost as good as Bryce!

The effects used in this Granted could be done in bryce, but would require alot of skill and patience whats the learning curve on this program, I understand that it's quite exspensive, but does seem to be worth the price for the serious hobbyist, or professional.

That is absolutely beautiful.....

You could do it in Bryce but it would probably kill you. . . Digital trees still don't cut it for me though. Too uniform and angular, the joins are bad too. But that's not the artist's fault.Very nice work Ryan all the same. Vue? never tried it. . .

I use Bryce and want World Builder. This is as good as it gets for demos. Volumetric world with fuzzy buds in the branches of the trees and grass. Dude that said "Almost as good as Bryce" is right in a way because it surpasses it. I luv bryce to death as it made me some money, but with WB and talent like this guy? This looks photographed. Expensive and it shows his talents even better. - --D.J.KiDAcE-- -

EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Except for the trees, it's great! Can you import Jungle 3D trees into this program?
rtamesis
Too bad it's not available for Mac OS X.

I love the composition. The color intensity, however, bothers me. The only way the light would be that intensely golden is if there were a very heavy atmospheric fog to diffuse the light. In that case, many of the features beyond a certain point would be obscured, and the nature of the fog itself would shade the lower-level light toward blues. It looks like a monochromatic palette was used.

Brother I hear you on the OS X comment, sigh.

Oops! It's nice idea for my own work... cool, buddy. Cool.

Pretty intense.......I think that a heavy morning dew subjected to a very hot morning sun with high humidity would allow the amount of volumetric haze we have here

Just trying 3d soft i'm neophyte but i'm sure of one thing :this picture is great , beautifull ...

Worldbuilder isn't that expensive, for what it can do. It's only a hundred bucks more expensive than Bryce. It's a great program, go buy it!

this is better than bryce. it would take forever to build this scene in bryce.

Very reminicent of Gerald Coulson's "Quiet Forest".

I got a "free" version of WB 2.5 in Digit UK magazine. It is surely an interesting soft, but has no decent renderer (basic Phong renderer). You will need 3Ds Max to render thi kind of scene (i/o plugins are bundled with WB).
