Since the mid-1980's modern military and paramilitary organizations have been experimenting with digital camouflage. Computers were found to be able to generate patterns which more closely mimmicked natural surroundings to, better hide soldiers and equipment.
Mega-Disruption Pattern (MDPAT) is a combination of an original pixelated disruption pattern, digital image transformation filters, digital imaging layers, and transparency maps. MDPAT provides a good mix of smudge, soft edges, hard angular and random polygons.
MDPAT is an excellent alternative to CADPAT, MARPAT, or conventional camouflage schemes.
Included are the following 1024x1024 texture maps:
Desert - Varying greys and browns.
Urban - Varying greys.
Woodland - greens, browns and black.
Trash Woodland - an enhanced version of the woodland pattern, with more smudge, and randomness added.
Two non-standard texture maps are also included:
Blue Urban - varying blues, and black.
Blaze Woodland - MDPAT Woodland with Bright Orange(for Hunters).
The image library comes set up for use in Poser4, but each is suitable for use in a variety of 3D environments, or applications.
For PC and Mac
Figure is the P4 Male wearing PhilC's Army BDU's. MDPAT works well with Phil's clothes, as well as on vehicles, and military buildings.
