I loved the 3 issues mini series of the magdalena by benitez. What ever happened to Topcow? They used to be one of the best publishers, then Michael turner got sick, they used rotating systems for their pencillers on most comics and they're never on schedule... Anyway, I like the sketch, are you gonna do a more detailed version as well or is it just a character study?

i am going to add a little more detail to the costume, but, as you can see by my other work, i'm not about detail, i'm about capturing a mood. when i'm happy with the sketch i'll more than likely paint this up. come back soon for an update.

Woow! I really like this. It has a very nice look to it! Very clear, although it is a "sloppy" drawing. Very nice indeed....also, I beg to differ with you syndroid! topcow still is the best publisher, it certainly DID go downhill when Mike got sick, but he's been better for a while now, so it's back on top! ANYHOO, this is one of my fav pictures right now! Keep it up! Heather
