Description
One last Lord of the rings image and I'm done lol. (been working on a LOTR website for a friend who didnt want a ton of stock images, so like a dumbass I volunteered) This is pretty much a final render. The only thing I'm going to add this week when I get a chance is a reflection of frodo reaching for the ring; I just don't have a good image to use as a refmap yet. Input always welcome.
(as always all models and textures are original)
PS a special prize to the person who guesses what the writing on the ring says hehe. (no it's not the same lines from the movie)

Hmm. My knowladge of Quenya is pretty limited (is it in Quenya?), so while I might be able to figure out what it SAYS I wouldn't have a clue what it MEANS. But uh... if that's Tengwar, there's no VOWELS in it...

well as i don't have an opinion on this ring.. its only been posted upteen thousand times before this.. same ring.. same look.. same writing.. same old right. WOO HOO.. dude its played.. and your expression of talent is goin to waste making this. Make a blue one or something.. at least it would be a change.. - James

Well, as I basically stated in my comment (which apparently went unread) I never intended this to be unique or terribly original. It was simply a favor for a friend. Not every peice of work has to make an dramatic artistic statement. I have plenty of time for that in the future and have done plenty of that in the past. In addition I hardly believe that an image that took at tops MAYBE an hour to create is an "expression of my talent". I'm sorry that you feel this lacks artistic merit. I could say the same about a large portion of what is posted here, but I don't, because there is no reason to. It serves no purpose. I guess next time I'll specify "CONSTRUCTIVE input always welcome."

Nicely done, although, I would like to know what it says on there, perhaps you could post that later on. Also looking forward to seeing the Frodo reflection added. Keep up the good work.

I just got done glancing through your gallery and I have to say you are defenitely more than capable of doing this. Personally I don't have the eye for detail to do elaborate scenes, but thats something I'm trying to work on to improve. THanks for the compliment. --Daniel
