hmmm... the lightning's gone wrong in the rendering, moved away from her finger and I'm not sure about those circular echoes of the light in her hand; for me they distract. I do like the bracelets on her arm. And she does look like the scary mum/wife so you've got the expression just right. Good start, needs some finishing touches.

A good idea for the pic, but needs some work on integrating all of the individual pieces into the scene. Good starting point, good idea.

I agree with the above posts, need to play with those transparency settings also the effects will look better in a black background, but is a great idea for an image :)
