Peace cannot exist without the judicious use of force. Human nature makes it impossible. It is therefore better to sacrifice peace for a brief time in order to insure it can prevail in the long term. Also, realize that this is not about a mere difference in convictions and ideals. This is about the sanctity of human freedom as much as it is about anything else. Rape, torture, genocide, and murder are more than mere idealistic differences. These things cannot be allowed to exist, especially when they exist in the form of a government that controls the lives of millions.

Let us hope for peace. It is sometimes necessary to go to war to defend your country or your allies when attacked. The unprovoked invasion of a soverin state, can never be justified, it is a crime.
