Our troops are in Iraq protecting the rights of our citizens to criticise their President and their country. (When the war on terrorism is fought exclusively on our continent, instead of making the enemy burn his resources in his own part of the world, our freedoms will be further erroded). If there never were any WMD's, I am proud that our country put a stop to the murders, torture and rape of many thousands of innocent human beings. Perhaps democracy in Iraq will be a start of peace in the Middle East. Or, at worst, maybe violence will continue, but at least it cannot be said that America was complacent and indifferent to the horrors of the Iraqi people. As artists, perhaps we can rejoice that other artists will be free to express their political opinions without fear of death or reprisal. Thank God for our troops and may God protect them and our President! It is that America of which I am proud, and why I served...and why my son proudly serves now. Oh, and great job on the artwork! ;-)
