I've wanted to start working on more organic things like characters, and this was a anatomy/form study of male hands. I'm going to try making a female version next, see if I can do it with less edges. utimately to get attached to a full character if all goes well. Comments welcome :)

very cool, certainly a lot better than my first attempt at a hand! Only the ridge down the middle of the wrist looks weird.
vasquez
great model!
Virum
What surface did you use to model this? IT looks really good.
lethaldose
Wow, wish I could do that ;) One comment could be that there is missing some bone structure on the face of the hand. It looks great tho!

A lot of unuseful details.
SpinMonkey
Very Nice! A few critiques though, the vein on the wrist looks a lil weird, and the fingers look too short. otherwise all the detail is excellent!
JasonA
Yes I agree about the fingers being too short (it seems more apparent now for some reason). The vein is actually supposed to be a tendon, but it doesn't taper off as it should, and the tendons could probably be a bit more pronounced on the top of the hand :-) Great feedback, thanks SpinMonkey Oh to those who asked (eons ago), its a sub-d model but all the detail is on level zero.
