The professor has chosen a textbook and now a page. You look at the front to see the copyright date and then hope to somehow establsih the temporal context from the science names or the epic theory but the bright white of the pages shimmers before your eyes. You'll have to get it from the infrared of when you went to the blackboard and took chalk in hand to set up your problem and solution in the previous class.
