I'm a student at Colorado State University studying illustration and graphic design. I am a self-taught modeler. For the moment my modeling is more of a hobby than a career, though hopefully someday soon I will have a job in the field. I model mostly (but not limited to) fantasy and sci-fi models. Enjoy the gallery!BIOEver since I was little I aspired as an artist and can never stop "doodling", either on paper or on a computer. I first started modeling (I use that term very loosely) about 3-4 years ago when our highschool bought Rhinoceros 1.0. To this day, I think I am the only one who ever even opened that black cardboard box.
This website and its wonderful forums have pushed and challenged me to become a better modeler every day. If it wasn't for people like Teyon Alexander (the moderator of the Rhino3D forum) I would never even have come close to where I am today.

gotta love one w/ bilbo and gollum.
Teyon
This one, while good is a bit off story wise. As I recall, Bilbo was more afraid than anything else during that sequence with Gollum. He did have Sting and even tried threatening Gollum with it but I think his face would be giving away more fear than anger as you've portrayed it at this point in the story. The art itself is excellent as always though.

Thanks Teyon. I agree, I drew Bilbo as too much of an action figure when he's more of a hesitant hero by chance. I think it could be remedied by making his eyebrows less angry/intimidating. Thanks again!

Bilbo with a vengeance, yippy ki ay gollum :)

The artwork by itself is very nice, but I almost expect Bilbo to start growing Adamantium claws from his knuckles. First look reminded me of Wolverine...

Excellent image!!

Picture looks great but I agree with Teyon and Tsetem. Would be a cool scene from "To live and die in the Misty Mountains" or "Hobbit Extreme".
