I like this. It feels very storybook like.

that is a lush jungle. I can feel the humidity. You suprised me by going inland like this. Very nice change. I love your use of the ferns on the tree. That is a nice realistic bit of added detail.

Nice change for you, Joe. I like the ferns too. Might want to work on trunk's texture; it seems to be kind of squared right in the front. Maybe a tileable bark texture? Good job!

Oh good! I don't know about the texture, I like it, it seems a hand painted picture, (not in a negative way, quite the contrary)... I also like the three spots of sky...

Fantastic landscaping!! Expect to see some large ants or other multi-legged species come marching out of that wonderful trunk.

I like the concept, Joe, but think you need to do more work on both the texture of the tree trunk and the way most of the fern-like growths arise from it. The texture is very realistic, but needs to be either made tileable or much larger to avoid the horizontal seams. While the small fern to the right of the trunk sits quite naturally, the others on the left, notably the one slightly below it appear to have been inserted into slits in the bark rather than growing from it. Maybe needs post work to correct this impression.
