Description

During a shakedown this fresh tattoo was found on one of the inmates occupying a cell where tattoo needles and ink were found. The ink is made by placing homemade candles inside the toilet paper cubicle. Soot is gathered from the top of the metal surface and mixed with baby oil. This "ink" is placed in a toothpaste cap. The needle is made from either a sharpened paperclip or staple inserted into a modified pen which has had the ball removed. String is wrapped around the needle and dipped into the ink. Then the tattoo is patiently applied by the "artist". More sophisticated tattoo guns have been found made from disassembled hair clippers and speaker boxes.
