Description
My first attempt using photographic textures and other texturing tecniques, the door is quite complex and imo I've reached a nice and realistic effect..walls and other things are all made with a mix of photographic/procedural and sometimes gradients applied in either diffusion/color/bump channels..now I need your comments!what do you think? what is ok and what can be improved? thanks in advance!!

I think that this is pretty amazing work. :o)
A few items to input... the volumetric light opacity setting is turned up a bit too much. Unless you have an explosion of light coming from inside, this could be turned down a bit. The stone texture on the wall is already very good. A few layers of bump mapping would help pull them out more. You need to watch out how your textures are stretching at the sides of the doorframe. I specially like how the lamp over the doorway resembles the lidless eye of Mordor. :o)
