Description

American or not, I am hoping that you can appreciate the thought behind this image. My nation is at war and it seems that a lot of Her own citizens stand in opposition against Her. I am not making a political stance. It does not matter to me if you are for or against this war. I am simply saying, like it or not, we are at war. Our brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, are in a foreign country with their lives on the line. Some Americans, from the comforting shield of their homes, degrade their own President and belittle their troops efforts. Again I say, beyond the pros and cons, we are at war. America is asking for support from Her citizens. Where are Her Patriots of old, who would defend Her to the end, right or wrong? She cries for loyalty. ---------Please, this is not the clique' "God Bless America" prayer call. I am asking that we truly intercede for the leaders of our nation and stand behind our troops.-------------------------------------------------------------- The above comments were posted well after the image was uploaded. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the last of this series. I wanted to try it in B&W. I left a little red in the stripes.

Good shot Daniel. Strange blurring effect on the left and right edges...

Looking for the strange blurring... but it is all natural. The only postwork was to make the image B&W, and then replace the red stripes.

Scattered all over is where they are at, unfortunatly, not any near or at Columbia University. But we are here, strewn throughout the country wanting to go where our brothers in arms are fighting. Nice work, love the black and white effect

I will gladly give my loyalty to my country, but not the havoc that it wreaks. I stand proud behind my friends in the desert, but I fill the streets with my cries of protest. I am a patriot to the core, but I would not see my country fight for nothing.
