Description

John read that letter to himself for what seemed to be hundreds of times. He paused from his thoughts just long enough to put down his 9th drink then sit back to just stare at the tiny scene that lay in front of him. He never stopped to think that by treating the outcome with the very thing that caused it in the first place, obviously wasn

Wow. This is great. The lighting and textures are highly impressive, and the gun looks rather menacing in its position... So... did the author of the letter commit suicide, or is John thinking about it?

Ahhh fabulous work! A great story behind it. I love the semi-transparent gun and the melting ice. Excellent stuff.

Love the label on the bottle...not sure about the blurred effect on the gun though since nothing else is blurred. Also, the melting ice cube? At least I think that is what it is...at first I thought it was reflections in the table from the glass...a little distracting maybe...having said ALL that..awesome image, communicates the feeling of the story very well...good modeling and good texturing too boot!!

Thanks for the comments guys, but I feel I didnt do my job. There seems to be some confusion about the gun, it is NOT there. That is what is devloping in his "minds eye". I was was trying to show a materialization of his thoughts, but OH WELL! I will have to get better at telling a story, This was my first. Thank You.

This is absolutely good. Love the modelling, the detail, the light and the textures. Plus, the liquid reflecting on the desk is cool, as is the blurred view of the pistol. Thumbs up, a truly excellent render.

I love the realism - the ice, the table. I can almost feel the smoothness of the bottle. I didn't get the gun, but your explanation cleared it up. I think a story and an image is superb (most of my pieces are that way), so I encourage you to develop more. And thanks for the suggestions about my coffee cup!

This is a great image...Love the sense of story...The gun is a little distracting, but the rest of the image really makes up for it...Great Job!!!
